Chocolate Border Cake Tutorial- Rosie's Dessert Spot

Chocolate Border Cake is on the menu in Book recipe, and we are going to teach you how to make this delicious recipe from scratch!

In this post tutorial, I demonstrate how to create a delicate and elegant chocolate border around a cake decorated with fresh berries and flowers.

Or check out just about all my cake decorating videos lol I have decided to stop showing this process as I have showed it at least 40+ times. I think people get the gist ;)

I used Cadbury dark chocolate melts, I only needed 2 handfuls or so of the chocolate to fit around a 5-inch cake (probably 6 inches once you add the buttercream layer, so approximately 1/2 a cup of chocolate.

The flowers I used were labeled wax flowers, so I assume that’s what they are called. But any flowers will do, I chose these particular ones because the colors matched the berries, and the green spiced things up a little.
