Ingredients
- potato – 3 lb /1,5 kg
- warm milk – 2/3 cup /150 ml
- butter – 2 oz /50 g
- sour cream – 7 oz /200 g
- cheddar cheese – 9 oz /250 g
- bacon – 3 oz /100 g
- green onion – 2 tbsp
- salt – 1 ½ tsp
- black pepper – ½ tsp
- vegetable oil – 1 tbsp
You will need:
- baking tray
- stockpot
- foil
- oven
- potato masher
Instructions
- Peel the potatoes put into a pot, pour with water, and boil for about 25 minutes until readiness.
- Drain and mash the potatoes.
- Add the sour cream, milk, 2/3 cup /50 g of the cheese, butter, salt, and pepper to the taste, mix well.
- Oil the baking tray and layout the mashed potato, cover with a sheet of foil.
- Preheat oven to 360°F /180°C and bake the casserole for 20 minutes.
- Take off the foil and sprinkle the casserole with the chopped bacon and rest of the cheese, bake for 15 minutes at 360°F /180°C heat.
- Take out the tray and sprinkle the dish with the chopped green onion.
