Roasted Nuts is on the menu in Book recipe, and we are going to teach you how to make this delicious recipe from scratch!
Using nuts of all varieties is a great way to add sparkle to some of your favorite dishes, but toasting them really takes them to the next level and you’re actually toasting the oils within the nuts and think the softer the nut the more the oil the more toasty and sweeter the taste and all it takes is spreading the nuts out on a parchment lined baking tray and putting them in the oven for about 10 to 12 minutes at 350, Stir them once along the way and then you wait until they’re that even golden brown.
Here i’ve got a simple salad with Boston lettuce goat cheese pears and with the sprinkle of toasted pecans adds crunch texture and a depth of flavor to a very simple salad.
Toasting your nuts does extend the shelf life but even after toasted make sure you store your nuts in an airtight container or even a resealable bag and even pop them in the freezer
just remember to refresh them in the oven again for that 10 minutes to bring them back to life
